Entry A-23 The Apoc-Shark
Frederick Hubbell, Ichthyologist
Before creatures even considered walking on land, the shark has been the master of the sea. Prowling the depths in one form or another for over 400 million years as a terror to all. They needed little help as the predominant predator beneath the waves and yet the Event has blessed them none the less. Most prominent of the new variations is the apoc-shark, a mutation of the legendary Great White. Already known as a vicious and relentless predators, apoc-sharks have gained upgrades to most of their established arsenal, and been augmented with a few additions, as if they were needed. As with most of these Event hardened species researchers are trying to piece together information as best we can, but with the added aggression of apoc-sharks, there has been no shortage of attacks to provide reference for study. Once the dead doll like eyes fix their glowing red glare on a target, little hope remains for the subject.

![]()
You are the "Favored Son" of Ahomana Ahohako, a remote, volcanic island chain amid the shattered remains of an apocalyptic Earth. You are the fury of the eruption; the strength of the mountains tempered only by the endurance of the sea. You are Toa and Untold rewards await you!
Apoc
Apocs are the last surviving remnants of the world's armies after an apocalyptic Event has left the planet as they know it completely shattered. Designed long before this world-shattering event, but with it in mind, Apocs are genetically engineered to be the ultimate survivalists - they're enhanced physical powers honed to cope with any form of external stress. With powers bordering on (and some far surpassing) the supernatural, the Apoc are truly the next stage in human evolution.

Sarge's Tale, Part 11

Sarge’s’s military reflexes kicked in; the pounding staccato of rounds from the M-321 smashed into the offending automaton. The heavy .306 bullets ripped through the leader-klik's comparatively light armor, sending up sparks and rending pieces of metal from the machine.
Apenimon was suddenly airborne, bat-like wings had somehow come into being creating a webbed membrane along the L’na’s outstretched arms and sides, the rest of his body was covered in thick, yet supple, iridescent scales. The External wove artfully through a network of cogs and drive shafts, coming in at an oblique angle to one of the other sentry klik as it cut wide to flank Roller. The small, densely muscled Apenimon slammed into the klik, his claws, glowing with some eldritch fire ripped through the automaton’s neck, shearing off its expressionless head in a shower of sparks and popping rivets.
Buzzsaw and Toa turned as another group of sentries approached from a lower tier, riding a giant paddle-wheel of a cog like a lift. As soon as they hit the slowly rotating platform they shot across the dull bronze surface, coils arcing with deadly intent. Buzzsaw’s hand popped backward on a hinge as its chainsaw attachment emerged, revving up in chorus with its massive circular blade that was running at full RPM.

Cap'n Dregs

Alias: Captain Dregs, Cap'n Dregs, Dregs the Marauder, Dregs the Shark
Race: Apoc Churl
Aspects: Body 8, Mind 1
Sex: Male; Ht: 6'10; Wt: 390 lbs.
"Surrender without fightin' and ye'll live ta tell how Dregs spared ya! Fight and none will ever know what became of ye!"
Character Description/Notes: Believe it or not, Captain Bartholomew Dregs is an Apoc Churl. Many Churl were created with the use of animal DNA in order to enhance their effectiveness in combat or the task they were designed for. No one is sure what foul genetic soup spawned Dregs, only that he is a nasty piece of work. Tall, with powerful muscularity, and a literal beer belly, since he seems to subsist on grain alcohol. His gray skin is rough like that of a shark, but his teeth are fanged and carnivorous like those of a land predator, with his thick fingered hands ending in short, sharp claws. Dressed in leathers and gaudy bits of patched finery, his bullet shaped head topped with a long shock of coarse hair, Dregs is easily recognizable.

Untold on the Aimee Stanton Show @ Gencon
We've been waiting to show you folks this for some time!! While we were at Gencon, we were approached by a very nice lady, Aimee Stanton, who was impressed by Untold. At first we thought she wanted a demo, but we were surprised to discover that she wanted to feature us on her Youtube Show! So, we sat down for a few minutes and talked a bit about Untold. Please excuse Ashy's voice in the video - he had nearly lost it by this point in the convention, he'd been talking so much!

Sarge's Tale, Part 10

The odd company passed through the swirling pathway of shifting light. Sarge’s boots came down with a muffled clank as she stepped on to a dull brass surface that sent her distorted reflection back at her. Alisa McGraw immediately moved to the left, her carbine pressed to her shoulder, cold eyes taking in the strange reality before her. A three dimensional maze of clock-work complexity surrounded her and her new companions as they emerged from the bright rent in reality. Steam issuing pistons the size of battle-carriers drove massive tree-length crank arms, which in turn spun island-like cogs that meshed with other spinning gears; on and on, creating a depth and distance to numb the mind. She had to focus on one point to stop the sense of vertigo that threatened to overwhelm her.
Sarge knew she was looking at the Klik home world. The damp humid air smelled of oil, copper, and ozone. She wondered how the natives kept from rusting. She heard the L’na Apenimon let out a sharp little gasp. The soldier glanced back to see the rift close as Roller and Buzzsaw followed behind the wide eyed Toa. If McGraw could judge the facial expression of an Outsider like the L’na she would say that the look upon Apenimon’s was ill disguised disgust.
“There is an anomaly upon this node,” Roller said in its reverberating dead-pan voice.

Tabita

Alias: The Redwind, Tuulu
Race: Apoc Churl
Aspects: Body 4, Mind 1, Soul 1
Sex: Female; Ht: 6' 1"; Wt: 160 lbs.
"Distance is irrelevant.... In my mind I am already there."
Character Description/Notes: Tabita is a distance runner, tall and thin, she has long, well muscled legs - like steel cables wrapped around bone. Attractive, her skin is the color of dark chocolate, her eyes are topaz; always searching the horizon. Her dark hair is shoulder length and usually pulled back into a single braid. Tabita wears shorts that are actually cut-off khakis and a light t-shirt with the sleeves ripped off. Sometimes she wears a messenger bag thrown over one shoulder, but she is never without her trusty spear. Carved from the wood of a baobab tree and enriched with Churl magic, her spear has protected her from a number of the deadlier apoc-creatures that now roam the plains.
