Swamp Slugfest

Location: Swamps of Lanta (Southeastern US).
Setting: About 4 AM on a sweltering summer morning in a swampy, overgrown junkyard filled with the rusting hulks of pre-Event vehicles. The goopy water is stained red with rust.
Forces: An Undead Infection (UI) horde vs. a loose alliance of swamp creatures (SWAMP).
UI: Wretch
SWAMP Leader: Snaighim
Setup: Undead hunt by night. While the sunlight does not seem to harm them, they prefer not to enter it - so once they finish their nightly hunts and begin returning to their putrid, dripping Hives, their bellies filled with warm flesh, the Undead are often at their most unaware. Jaka, the Snaighim, knows this well. As such, the serpent-like creature from Ai has chosen that specific time for its attack.

The Bastion
Encryption Level: CLASSIFIED
File Series: LOC_BAS_B2A91
Debrief Class: Alpha-2-Tango
Requesting Individual: ō
Location: The Bastion is a North American Union (NAU) frontier base deep within the Swamps of Lanta surrounded by fens, grasping cypress, and boggy uplands. The one access point to the isolated citadel is an ancient asphalt track rising, pitted and decayed, from the swamps, twisting among the ruins of buildings toppled and sundered from the apoc destruction.
Bone Snapper

Rumors have recently arose of large and obscenely muscled undead with root-like tissue protruding from their stumped arms, entwined around slabs of stone or other large inorganic objects. These large, undead wrecking balls have so far proved a harder nightmare to overcome for the NAU, as these fusions of flesh and stone appear stronger than their purely carnal cousins. With the arrival of such brutal and stalwart aggressors, the NAU finds the former solace of the dormant graveyards quickly fading into nothingness.
Why the graveyards have become breeding grounds for the undead after generations of seemingly inactivity, and their surprisingly enhanced strength, has sparked heated debates among the NAU scientists, with little consensus. The resolute strength and rigor of these undead shatters armor, splits flesh and snaps bone like dry sticks, hence the collective name given to these novel terrors: Bone Snapper.

Flesh Ripper

What exactly causes the Undead of Apoc Earth to rise from their graves and reign down fear and terror on the living remains uncertain. However, they rise nonetheless, countless thousands, each unique and different and dangerous. There are some Undead, however, that are far more fearsome and terrifying than the others.
What exactly occurs to make a corpse into a Flesh Ripper is unclear. As with other Undead, countless legends describe the process. While the details may vary according to tribe, society, and culture, there are a few consistent facts within each. Almost all of the legends agree that it takes a soul of a person who was outstandingly cruel. This soul, in life, must have caused great physical pain to those around him.

Ruins Riot

Location: The ruins of a pre-Event amusement park on the eastern shores of what was once the United States.
Setting: High noon on a stormy, overcast day amidst the slowly-collapsing remnants of a pre-Event amusement park. The Crag Crawlers' eggs are located in a makeshift nest high atop the twisted remains of a Ferris wheel.
Forces: A small force of Undead Infection (UI) wants to steal the young of a pair of mated Crag Crawlers (which are a more advanced version of the vicious Ruinstalkers) for nefarious purposes. The Crag Crawlers have suppressed a rabble of RUINS creatures to defend their unborn young.
RUINS Leader: A mated pair of Crag Crawlers
UI Leader: Bone Snapper
Setup: Bront, a massive Bone Snapper, has it in mind to nab the as-yet-unhatched young belonging to a pair of mated Crag Crawlers that reside in the shattered ruins of a nearby pre-Event amusement park. Built on a rickety pier that juts out into the frigid (and now highly-acidic) waters of the Atlantic, this spot was once one of the most popular recreation centers on the eastern seaboard of the long-defunct United States. Now it is little more than a crumbling facade of its former self… a decrepit expanse darkened by both its sad fate and its new inhabitants.
Powers: Undead Infection Powers

The stuff of Nightmares! As if the horrid Undead Infection weren't bad enough already, now you can make them even worse with this 17(+) card Booster! Power Cards like Feed on the Dead, Grayfly Swarm, and of course, Undead Infection serve to make your Players dread the Undead!
Trouble in Toledo

Location: The ruins of north Toledo, Ohio — near Lake Erie.
Setting: Early dawn on a cool autumn day, just outside the ruins of the Toledo North Assembly Plant — an automobile plant that used to manufacture Jeeps before the Event.
Forces: A North American Union (NAU Defenders) forward reconnaissance squad versus an Undead Infection (UI) mob.
NAU Leader: NAU HERo Sergeant
UI Leader: Flesh-ripper
Setup: When not fighting for their lives, all NAU bases engage in reconnaissance and salvage — they send out platoons to gather pre-Event machinery and equipment from the ruins of the past. A platoon hailing from Wright-Patterson has recently been scouring the ruins of Toledo in an attempt to fulfill this mandate, splitting into four teams to expand their salvage operation. Things went well for two weeks, until the Green Team accidentally attracted unwanted attention to the operation… undead. The Lieutenant gave orders to evacuate, and everyone's out — except Blue Team.
