Ruins Riot

Location: The ruins of a pre-Event amusement park on the eastern shores of what was once the United States.
Setting: High noon on a stormy, overcast day amidst the slowly-collapsing remnants of a pre-Event amusement park. The Crag Crawlers' eggs are located in a makeshift nest high atop the twisted remains of a Ferris wheel.
Forces: A small force of Undead Infection (UI) wants to steal the young of a pair of mated Crag Crawlers (which are a more advanced version of the vicious Ruinstalkers) for nefarious purposes. The Crag Crawlers have suppressed a rabble of RUINS creatures to defend their unborn young.
RUINS Leader: A mated pair of Crag Crawlers
UI Leader: Bone Snapper

Battle UP:
325

Setup: Bront, a massive Bone Snapper, has it in mind to nab the as-yet-unhatched young belonging to a pair of mated Crag Crawlers that reside in the shattered ruins of a nearby pre-Event amusement park. Built on a rickety pier that juts out into the frigid (and now highly-acidic) waters of the Atlantic, this spot was once one of the most popular recreation centers on the eastern seaboard of the long-defunct United States. Now it is little more than a crumbling facade of its former self… a decrepit expanse darkened by both its sad fate and its new inhabitants.

Powers: Undead Infection Powers

Trouble in Toledo

Location: The ruins of north Toledo, Ohio — near Lake Erie.
Setting: Early dawn on a cool autumn day, just outside the ruins of the Toledo North Assembly Plant — an automobile plant that used to manufacture Jeeps before the Event.
Forces: A North American Union (NAU Defenders) forward reconnaissance squad versus an Undead Infection (UI) mob.
NAU Leader: NAU HERo Sergeant
UI Leader: Flesh-ripper

Battle UP:
355

Setup: When not fighting for their lives, all NAU bases engage in reconnaissance and salvage — they send out platoons to gather pre-Event machinery and equipment from the ruins of the past. A platoon hailing from Wright-Patterson has recently been scouring the ruins of Toledo in an attempt to fulfill this mandate, splitting into four teams to expand their salvage operation. Things went well for two weeks, until the Green Team accidentally attracted unwanted attention to the operation… undead. The Lieutenant gave orders to evacuate, and everyone's out — except Blue Team.

Undead Infection

From the ancient and moldering cities of the eastern United States, the Undead Infection slowly spreads their taint across the new Earth. The lesser undead, little smarter than wolves, hunt the cities and the wilds - threatening all who stray from the protection of the few scattered Apoc settlements. While, the older and greatest of the undead haunt the fallen cities, amassing slavering hordes of their lesser kin before they too set out to reap wanton destruction and hopefully spread the Infection to another settlement.

Infections win conflicts by overcoming their enemies through sheer numbers. The lesser units are cheap, but surprisingly strong or agile and this allows Infection players to neutralize stronger units through mob tactics. Once targets are born to the ground by the vile first wave, the greater undead follow to seal their victim's fate. And the greater undead also have a number of unique powers that enable a player to handle trickier foes. Infection players have to accept losing a few of their minions to their opponents, but even a fallen minion serves to feed the Infection that follows.
