"How do I kill them?"

Character Description/Notes: Shadow has a sordid past. Little of it is known to him or anyone else. Shadow has memories of Ai, memories of what life was like before he was transported. His memories of Ai are few and far between. Shadow remembers what he is and where he is from, but not his true name or how he came to be on Apoc-Earth.

Shadow, however, is a survivor...

It did not take him long to adapt to his new environment and to carve out a decent sized territory for himself. Shadow spent most of his days in the hollowed out body of an ancient, crashed airplane, contemplating where he was and how he got there, and who he really was for that matter. Then, one night while he was hunting, he found someone who could give him the answers he sought. Known only as the Guide, an entity appeared to Shadow through a portal, similar to the one that had brought Shadow to Earth in the first.

The Guide gave Shadow an offer, Shadow could help the Guide answer why the universes are colliding, and in return he would give Shadow his true name again and help him return to Ai. Shadow is not sure if he should trust the Guide yet, but right now, he doesn't see that he has any other option.

Tactics: Shadow is, above all else, a predator. Shadow prefers an ambush to all else. He will stalk an opponent or prey for hours, waiting for the just the right moment to strike. When he strikes, he often moves directly in front of his prey, appears suddenly removing his veil to startle them, and leads off with a poisonous sting from his tail, hopefully to the neck or chest, where the poison can work quickly. Shadow prefers to hunt and do everything else for that matter, at night, where his ability to "veil" himself from his opponents senses is strongest.

Shadow, however, has one dire setback. After his transportation from Ai to Apoc-Earth, along with growing large, bony spikes on his back, Shadow also came into possession of a nearly uncontrollable rage. Through meditation, he has been able to control it some, but it still gets the better of him, especially in combat. When under the Rage, he will still use his veil, but his attacks will become more brutal, as he attacks with his claws and teeth.
