"Come along and I will show something no one has seen in a thousand years."
Character Description/Notes: Oru is lithe, slender L'na Twilight; a mix between a lemur, bat, and moth. His body and head are distinctly lemur-like with a predominantly red-brown coloration. He has four limbs, and one set are actually bat wings, the rear pairs are used for locomotion on the ground, with the wings themselves tucked to his side. With his large, luminous yellow eyes, large ears, and moth-like antenna, Oru is a creature of the night.
Oru found himself upon Apoc-Earth, not because of any great storm, or the collision between worlds. Rather he found himself torn from Ai because of his own curiosity. Oru is a born explorer, one that found mounting frustration upon his beloved home world.
Oru loves mystery, the unknown, and discovering what lies beyond the next hill. He has mastered many of the magical energies of Ai. He has traveled across the lush, verdant lands of his birth, learning and teaching, but always yearning.
There was nothing to discover, nothing to unravel. Ai is an ancient world with a rich history that, unlike Apoc-Earth, has never been lost. The richness of its history has been faithfully been passed from one generation to the next, from elders to the people. L'na ascend; not dying, but transforming, preserving the world's knowledge. Ruins are not known upon Ai, as many ancient structures of the world are actually Ascended L'na. Oru's curiosity and need to unravel the mysteries went unfulfilled, until one deep exploration.
Oru loves the dark tight places of his world, his sinewy build, multiple limbs, and ability to navigate in total darkness makes him ideal for such explorations. On one such exploration into a deep cavern where he made his greatest discovery; within the deep bones of Ai was a portal of some kind that was not native to Ai, was not an Ascended. The curious Oru ran his slender fingers over the glyphs upon the alien stone and activated the portal.
When Oru's vision cleared he was in the ruins of an alien city and he was filled with a joy he had never experienced before. Now he had a place to explore, wholly alien, with a history that he would have to discover, catalog and share. Of course he had not realized how dangerous this world was. But his powers made him capable and his friendly, curious manner allowed him to meet others and band with them for mutual protection.
Oru will travel for weeks on a rumor. He can spend a year in one ruined city block to glean all the secrets it holds. Oru travels where the winds of mystery and adventure take him, often helping others that are looking for a specific artifact. His openness and wide-eyed appearance off set his alien appearance to those native to Apoc-Earth, and Klik just peak his interest outright.
Tactics: Oru is not a warrior, but his mystical abilities make him formidable in battle, lending aid and support to allies. He will take to the air with dizzying agility, or effectively use vertical surfaces to cling and move about, avoiding and dodging his foes. His size and night-vision capabilities make him the perfect reconnaissance operative, if he is not distracted by something that catches his curious imagination.
