Character Description/Notes: Cetacious is from the bright sandy coastal regions of Ai, unlike most L'na who are share obvious chimera-like qualities of several terrestrial animals; Cetacious has qualities that suggest the ocean mammals of the post-apocalyptic Earth, but does not actually resemble them. Cetacious is roughly six feet in height, weighing about one hundred and eighty pounds, with a massive barrel chest. He is completely hairless, with a slick appearance, with distinctly defined dorsal and ventral black and white markings.

Running along the outside of his forearms are blades of skin that serve him, like the dorsal fin that runs half the length of his spine, as rudders. The outside of his legs bear similar blades that run from knee to ankle. These form effective flukes for propulsion when he is in the water. Cetacious’ broad head sits upon a short neck nestled between thick shoulders. His wide elongated jaw is filled with conical sharp teeth; his forward set eyes appear deep and wise, yet with a hint of childish playfulness. Twin nostril-like blow holes sit incongruously on the back of his head, behind the small closed bumps that serve as ears.

Cetacious is a being of the wide and deep seas, he is uncomfortable on dry land, as the lack of submersion dries his flesh and his movements are awkward and clumsy. He is an air breather, but he can hold his breath for incredibly long periods, he can survive depths that would crush a Klik’s armored chassis, let alone the internal organs of other sentient creatures. In the water Cetacious is graceful and blindingly fast, the water as air to him.

Cetacious was ripped from Ai during a ferocious storm out to sea; this by itself had not concerned him as he would dive deep to calmer waters. It seemed as if the storm reached down beneath the waves to snatch the L'na, hurling him through the shattered realities, depositing him in the polluted, corrupted waters that surrounded an ruined place called Battered-Wreck, an island of hulks, detritus, and planks lashed together to form a floating port town.

Trapped in a reality not his own, Cetacious formed friendships with the various inhabitants, becoming an invaluable messenger between islands of civilization, including the bizarre Klik node to the south-east of Battered-Wreak. But always Cetacious sees a purpose for himself upon the waters of the Apoc: to show the humans how to live in harmony with the sea and sky, and with others, but always he looks for a way back to his crystal blue oceans and the teaming bright life that was in his keeping there.

Tactics: Cetacious is a peaceful creature, prone to negotiation and persuasion rather than battle. He defends his waters and those that inhabit them just the same. He uses his ability to communicate with the denizens of the deep to bring allies to his side, whether a pod of whales or voracious apoc-sharks. He also has mystical abilities over wind and surf.

In a hand to hand confrontation Cetacious is a powerful opponent. His dense muscularity gives him strength to match a raging Churl and his thick hide allows him to shrug off most blows.
