"The ice moves slowly. Unstoppable. Inexorable. It will always win….like me."

Character Description/Notes: Bulk is a massive brute of primal power and stark harshness, like the ice swept environs he calls home. A great walrus-like L'na, Bulk is aptly named by the local Churl tribes; he is well over five meters in length and nearly seven hundred and fifty kilos. His skin is smooth and hairless except for whiskers about his mouth and scimitar tusks, a mottled gray/white that blends with the barren shores of his coastal haunts.

Bulk was taken by a NAU expeditionary force that found him floating on a small iceberg that had sheared off his home upon Ai by an inter-dimensional storm. They thought to haul the L'na back for study, they were mistaken. The titanic Bethleus’an unleashed all his strength as well as his elemental powers upon the NAU soldiers, leaving their ship floundering and the men aboard dead, or incapacitated with frost bite.

The L'na followed the warm Gulf Stream to cooler waters that resonated with his lost home. There he encountered the Churl that made their life upon the tundra and ice. This encounter with humans went better than the first, thanks to the shaman Tentique, who understood that Bulk was no sea animal to be hunted, but a sentient being and perhaps a messenger spirit? The churl dubbed Bethleus’an with his new name Bulk, which did not disturb the L'na. He simply accepted that these savages could not comprehend the intricacies of the L'na language.

Bulk took it upon himself to educate the savages and with Tentique’s help he started to guide the two-legs to a more harmonious and spiritual life. Ultimately Bulk wished for solitude and quiet. Once the barbarians were on the proper path, the L'na retired to the ice where he could live in quiet and peace. On occasion Tentique and her people will make a sojourn to Bulk’s home to seek his guidance and even his blessing for momentous tribal decisions. The L'na graciously bestows such nods of approval, pleased that the two-legs are at least intelligent enough to respect and revere superior beings.

Tactics: Bulk is confident in his size, strength, and near invulnerability to physical harm. He is slow moving upon the ice, but fast, if not graceful in the water. He can lash out with lightening quickness, shearing through thick armor plate with his huge ivory tusks. He has little to fear from the two-legs considering them inferior and little better than animals themselves, most of their puny weapons ineffective against his hide. The animals of the deep are of little concern to him as well, he has a rapport with mammalian sea life, considering them distant, if dull cousins that have not been touched by the grace of Ai. The other predators like Apoc-Sharks may be larger than he, but his powers of ice and cold quickly allow him to master such encounters.

Bulk has the ability to wield elemental ice, snow, and even wind, focusing the energies into bolts of force, spears, even scatter projectiles. All with the power to destroy armor and pulverize offending flesh. With all that, Bulk is reluctant to unleash his power on others, taking no joy in killing or battle. He would rather spend his time within himself, with his own thoughts. He is slow to anger, almost willing to parley until the enemy finally decides to strike the first blow. He is more apt ignore a threat than to rush to meet it. But once roused to anger and action he is unstoppable, there is no reasoning with him once engaged. There is no surrender or quarter. He will see those foolish enough to challenge him broken and destroyed before him.
