A L'na Twilight
Name: Shadow (Working title)

Physical description: Shadow is in the form a large, black tiger, with grey stripes. He has bony spikes that protrude from his shoulder blades, and the line his spine, getting smaller in size until they reach the tip of his tail, which is forms into a bony, stinger-like end.

Background: Shadow is victim of Splintered Serenity. When the worlds first collided, he was transported to Apoc Earth. During the transportation, he lost a great deal of his memory. He knows he is a L'na Twilight, has some memories of Ai, but everything else is a little fuzzy, even his real name. His current name comes from a local village of Churls, on whose livestock (and occasional member) he sometimes preys on. While he is quite adept at the mental powers Twilights possess, he is extremely physical and violent for a Twilight. For some reason, since the transportation, he also suffers from extreme fits of violences, in which he might lash out at anything. Through meditation, he has learned to bring these attacks under some form of control. His preferred form of attack is blinding his foes senses to his presence, making it seem as if he is invisible to them, and attacking them swiftly. In his short time on Apoc Earth, he has carved out quite a territory for himself, driving most of the native predators, and every other living thing for that matter, away from him. For a while, he spent time in contemplation in a large, metal cave, communing with the spirits that inhabited the area and living in relative peace and seclusion. However, he has been hearing a voice in his dreams, calling him to something, but to what, he has no clue. He has begun to roam farther and farther from the safety of his new found den, and is now contemplating a sojourn across this new world, in search of the source of the voice in his dreams and a way back to Ai and his memories.

I like it! So is Shadow one of those L'na whose physical form has taken on traits of the world around him (i.e. the bony spikes)? Are the spikes like stone, or actual bone?

Also, what's up with the metal cave? Is it a cage? I did not follow that bit.

the spikes are something of a mutation that he acquired when he was transported. I envisioned the spikes being made of bone, but they could be metal. They can grow into longer spikes if necessary. His fits of violence and memory loss are also side effects of his transportation. I did want to alter his tail, and make it bony from where it connects on his body all the way to the end, and his stinger is poisonous.

The metal cave is a downed plane/shuttle/cylinder shaped craft, that crashed into the ground and buried most of itself. Shadow wouldn't know what to call it, besides a metal cave or tunnel.

I would love to see Shadow become a card. I've been toying around with the idea for some time now for a homemade character, and thought he would an interesting concept.

If you agree to change his tail to a scorpion-like tail and agree to give me a full, descriptive writeup (a la Toa, Apenimon, etc..), with some cool storyhooks and Tactics and everything, a card he shall be. :)

Ben, that was sweeeeeet!!!!!! I'm sorry I missed the initial post. I can see this guy as a major foe for agroup just as easily as an ally. Good job. I can't wait to see the card art.

I kind of wanted a character that could be both a villain or a hero, or maybe just a loose cannon who shows up and lends his help where he deems it necessary, a kind of Gandalf the Grey goes Darkside. Ashy's got a more detailed write up of him.

As soon as we get some art in for him, he'll be on the site, even! :)

This is a klik roller, and I'm not sure if something like this is allowed, but its an idea.

Name: Ai guard

Physical description: This klik is almost completely black. It has a perfectly spherical metal wheel, attached to its tall thin elongated cubed (i.e. 3-D rectangle)body by a single clasp resembling a three pronged hand. Its head looks like one of those masks a welder wears, except its visor glows red with a single bright red dot in its center. Its arms appear to be the connections of various pipes, varying in size, connected to its body by shoulder gears that move in harmony with its inner gears and pistons, that are constantly pounding at least 10x that of a normal roller or tripod. Its body is decorated with bright-silver pipes of all sizes going to and fro. The ends of its pipe-like arms are empty holes that run deep from their openings all the way into its heart gear, its blasters.

Background: The Great Machine learned very quickly that there was now a new breed of anomalies that couldn't be dealt with by steel and metal. And so after years of spies, samples, and error after error, the Great Machine finally developed a relatively new klik roller that could defend against L'na. This machine was created out of a fit of rage, a temper tantrum if you will, at the various soul-based creatures that seemed to whimsically dance around every measure of defense the Great Machine had to offer. Therefore, this klik is ruthless towards L'na. Its soul powers come from an acquired piece of Ai, brought by spy kliks to the Great Machine's factories from the farthest reaches of its regions. This piece of Ai is stored in a heart gear and is pounded by extremely powerful pistons and the soul power that is released is stored through its interworking pipes in a continuous fashion.

Tactics: Trained to take down L'na with a soul-based blaster cannon in each arm, that comes from its pipe arms. The blasts fire in five second bursts, because each burst requires time to recharge soul via inner extractions of Ai. The actual blast looks like crystal water, and would be unable to detect at all if it did not make such an impact in the air as it moved. It has been attached with a Ai detection mechanism in its visor via a sort of radar that emits its waves and only bounces back in the direction that similar Ai matter exists. Using this detection method, Ai guard has been know to randomly fire and hit L'na who seemed invisible by all other idle watchers.

It could use some work, and some details are left out (e.g. what is the range of the rader? the blast? etc.) But I really wanted to stop Benraven's war mage with my miny klik army lol. And I was inspired by the concept of Gear Guard.

Pretty cool, light!! Still trying to picture it physically in my head, but the concept is very cool!

Well, I'm having trouble visualizing it too. Let's just change him to having a superman torso, with a pipe connecting to the prong thingy that holds the wheel as I described, forget the shoulder gears, and make the rest the same. I think that's easier lol.

I have an idea that I got last fall about an underwater apoc. I have a physical description, but as I am artistically challenged, do not have a picture of him. Would you be interested in creating an underwater apoc race?

Here's my Apoc High-Bred Magic Scientist character, Artemis Grange.

Name: Artemis Grange
Alias: Doc, Dr. Grange, Youngling

Physical Appearance: Artemis Grange is an inquisitive and intelligent man in his early 30's, a High-Bred scientist to the last. He is handsome, clean shaven with short black hair streaked with slight gray stripes here and there. He spends more time in the field than many scientists, and as such has a bit of an athletic physique. He typically wears a long white lab coat with a white button up and black and gray striped tie. He often carries a standard issue saber on his side for a bit of added protection in case his combat retinue cannot fully protect him from the horrors in the wild.

Background: A High-Bred scientist from the Dreaming in Oceania, Dr. Grange was a bit skeptical of the strange new beasts that now roamed Apoc Earth. Not knowing any better, it was easy to lump the L'Na and Klik in with the likes of the Flux beasts and Undead hoards. Though not immediately hostile, he was content to dedicate him to the study of other creatures and phenomenon that occurred throughout Apoc, effectively ignoring the other creatures and their "magic" and "Techno-wizardry." However, he would soon come in contact with magic of a different source. During a field expedition, he and his retinue would be decimated by a Hydra Strand. During his state of heightened fear and stress, he inadvertently speared the beast with a spike of land, having somehow conjured it from within himself. Injured, scared, and confused, the group was able to defeated the Strand, but were themselves stranded in the ruins. However, as fate... or providence would have it, a group of adventurers, including a Klik Roller and L'Na Twilight happened upon the weary group and rescued them easily.

With a new lease on life thanks to the other races, Dr. Grange asked the Twilight, a monkey/bird hybrid named Gordi, to help him understand the magic he could now use. The L'Na instantly recognized the Investiture of Oaze and agreed to help the funny "Youngling". However, even the Ai native was unable to explain how the High-Bred was gifted with such power. Was it the Event? Or a gift from somewhere, someone? With a greater hold of his power, Dr. Grange often returns to the field, venturing closer to the Flux controlled space to find answers to his personal question of fate.

Oh! I have a full write up if anyone wants it. I might also be getting a picture soon, too.
