The Waiting is the Hardest Part

:) As I said, we've been working shipping... :D

My order arrived yesterday (Friday) and I got to open them today. Two things about the order that suprised me:

First, there were no rules posters stuffed into the deck boxes. Instead of being folded into small bundles they were folded in quarters and placed in the shipping box on top of the decks. They look almost pristine having been folded much less than normal when included in the deck box.

Second, I was also amazed that no invoice accompanied the order. From an internal control standpoint, invoices are wonderful documents because both the recipient and sender can quickly verify the accuracy of the order. Everything arrived perfectly (and that can be double-checked online) but I did find the lack of invoice unusual.

Now I can spend the rest of the weekend happily sorting cards.

Invoices are SUPPOSED to come with every order. We'll bring it up with the printer. Thanks!

My cards arrived in Cleveland, shipped home, and arrived there. I was worried some Lee mail sorter would've kept my load of goodies since it was over the summer. Now, just to get that teleporter back online to zap them here...

WOO HOO! Sorry, I borrowed the transporter and broke it. ERP...

I warned you wookies were overweight and not just extra furry for the 'porter. It was built with twig-men like me in mind...

So THAT'S why I can't get this thing off my mid section!!! ... I mean... BAD Ashy! can't believe you broke the nice mans teleporter like that... :D

I ordered my cards 2 weeks ago and the Order Status still states: "Payment Received." Is that normal, or has my order been lost in the Flux?

And you can get that Teleporter working, I'll take my cards tonight if you got it ready. :D

No, it's not normal - our printer is backlogged due to a rush for Origins. I'm pinging them daily, Church. Very sorry, mate. I will let you know the instant I hear from them!

LOL...I was wondering why all the Malaysians were laughing at the Victoria Secret mannequin with furry legs. :P

Church, if you have any oil and a lot of elbow grease to remove that monkey wrench from the teleporter, then you can have the cards and the fidgety thing. Mailing cats that way is pretty fun, too, especially special delivery to people's desk drawers or cabinets. :D

Your ability to utterly confuse me with a single post is utterly amazing...

Let's do it! I'll take care of that Monkey. And that Wrench!

Also, the faster I can get the cards, the more I can contribute to conversations around here. I'm working off of pure memory from ConCarolinas and the Online Primer.

Church-Lol! It may be more difficult than you think (Those HALL monkeys have a way with causing crazy things ta happen when you get near them), but it will be quite the adventure!

And I hear ya on the memory bit. Sitting nearly 12000 mikes away from the nearest stack of cards makes it a bit difficult to recall several aspects of Untold, especially when talking about minions. That is why the Newsletter's sampling looked extra awesome on this side of the world. :D

Still no word from the Printers?

Sadly, no. I've sent them emails and called them everyday. I know that our usual contact is out for vacation, but his business partner has yet to reply to me. I will keep trying and as soon as I hear something, you'll be the first to know. Please accept my apology... :(

Just when I was starting to give up hope, my two long-wandering decks finally made it to my house. Hooray for that! I hope you'll understand that I simply plan to buy my "Foundational Powers" at the con, however - immediate gratification is worth the extra price.

Also, I note that there's still no inventory sheet in the box I was sent. I haven't gotten any incorrect shipments, but this could easily be an issue for the retail front if even the really large orders aren't receiving inventory lists for their orders either.

My two decks found their way to my mailbox today!! I have already opened them and they are all there, accounted for and accurate. Even got my rules poster in the shipment, and invoice as well!! Next week sometime I'll be presenting Untold to Parker Bannon Kent and Wayne in Cornelius and working with them to see when a good time would be to come in and show off the game to the customers.

I'll plan it a few weeks out so there's time for people to spread the word and such. I'll be in touch about it Ashy.
