We're thinking of creating a line of Untold miniatures, and want to see what sort of interest there is out there. So please take the following poll and spread the word! :D

Okay, pre-painted minis will cost more. While I would prefer pre-painted minis, doesn't mean everyone else will. Perhaps another poll in regards to that.
From a player's perspective, you only need a few minis--for your characters. However, a GM needs A LOT of minis, one for each and every opponent that he/she plans to throw against the players.
A possible solution could be quality minis for player characters, and using paper minis for their opponents. Of course, there'd need to be more of the paper mini PDFs to cover that situation.
That would be a route that I'd consider. As GM, I could print out 5 Wretches (or 20, he he he) and not worry to much, while the players could have really nice minis to represent their characters.
Just my 2 UP worth.
I personally like this idea, and we could certainly produce more Paper minis of characters and creatures, if there's a desire for that sort of thing. I'd like to know everyone's thoughts on it, for sure.
I'd also like to know which folks prefer - pre-painted or not?
Not sure whether you're still looking for input about this or not, but for my .02 I think that prepainted minis especially for PCs and paper minis of creatures and minions would work really well. I do a similar thing for my homeschool Savage Worlds Slipstream game. I made/altered minis to represent the characters, but use paper minis for the bad guys. However, I probably wouldn't be interested in minis that were not compatible with D&D minis/ Heroscape/ Heroclix, etc. (I think 25-28mm is the scale). Minis of a different scale wouldn't be useful in other games, and therefore wouldn't be much use to me.
I've been toying with the idea of converting some small kids toys to Untold (specifically L'na) creatures. My local dollar store sells small sets of farm and jungle animals that are just about the right size for converting. I've set aside a tiger to try to convert to Shadow when my muse strikes again.
I do that too! I'm always on the lookout for cool small kid's toys that will make for groovy minis - you can find lots of neat dinosaurs, dragons, and such - they work great!
The intent was/is totally to make our minis compatible with other minis, so that would not be an issue. We currently offer some Untold 2D paper minis now:
All of the minis to go along with the Starter Set: http://www.untoldthegame.com/store/untold-2-d-starter-set-minis
All of the minis for L'na: http://www.untoldthegame.com/store/untold-2-d-lna-starter-set
Eek! We need to get some more of these out! :P
I have the starter mini set, but haven't printed it out yet. I really liked the B&W and outline versions of them!
Thanks! I thought - why not? Folks like to paint minis, so why wouldn't they like to color paper minis? Of course, now everyone ELSE is doing it... (SIGH)... :P

Thanks for voting everyone! Looks like Klik won out with a pretty good margin, so I will put up the next poll in just a bit. However, Timelord posted a comment on the poll here: http://www.untoldthegame.com/content/if-you-could-get-untold-resin-minia... that I'd like to address.
1. Pre-painting. This is something that we can do, but it adds to the cost (not sure how much yet, as we were looking at the most cost-effective solution initially for this trial run). However, is pre-painting a requirement for everyone? If so, what are you willing to pay for pre-painted minis? $15? $18? More? Less? Let us know; we'll see what we can do!
2. TL said, "Inexpensive enough to purchase in quantity..."; looking at other RESIN minis, we thought that our price range was pretty inexpensive (it's less than a lot of competitors out there), so what is "inexpensive"? Let us know; and feel free to give us some ranges!
Thanks - look for the next poll coming soon! (Oh, and just because Klik won out, that does not mean that we'll never make L'na or Apoc. We're just trying to make this first run as successful as possible, so please everyone participate!)
