I like it! but howzy bout. "There are times when you have to temp fate!" ? or "those that try to pluck the cords of fate often only tangle them."
I've been thinking about a whole string of power cards that focus primarily on luck and chance and always cause some sort of chaos. I think it may be fun to play a bit of a gambler character. Feel free to take the idea and run with it if you like it.

True, I like the simplicity of all d20 mechanics myself. However, if you bring your own cards and this is one of them, then you'd probably be sure to bring your dice, right? ;)
Untold advertises that the ONLY die needed is a d20. While its an interesting card, I would modify it to fit a d20 mechanic, if nothing else, than to keep it true to the game's original design.

I've kinda been trying to estimate how much UP abilities of different MAG would cost. I like changing levels to include more of the d20 as the level increased, but this is the math on the d20 rolls:
Counting 1-5 and ignoring everything above that: average value is 0.75
Counting 1-10 and ignoring everything above that: average value is 2.75
Counting 1-15 and ignoring everything above that: average value is 6.00
Counting 1-20: average value is 10.50
Those are the results you could expect to add to MAG randomly.
EDIT: Rereading I realize you're talking about to hit rolls (I'm tired too). Call it "Unerring Accuracy" maybe. But this would work for damage too.
From this point forward - please do not worry about providing UP cost - and I've removed it from Ashy's post. As the WM, we will have to decide this based upon the system we have built for Untold.
