Rise from the Rubble (RftR) - [CLOSED]

This is an open call to all Untold players who want to get in on the first ever Untold PBP! If you want to know what a PBP or how it works, head here, otherwise, read on below.

TITLE: Rise from the Rubble (RftR)
INTRO: Three years ago, at the request of the NAU from Outpost FLW (modern day Fort Leonard Wood, MO), a group of heroes averted a strange and potentially deadly threat: an ominous Klik tower that appeared suddenly from a violent Flux Storm. The heroes entered the tower, fought valiantly and eventually succeeded in toppling the massive, miles-high clock-work structure. Unusually, the Kilk structure seemed to have been altered in some way and it was filled with horrible creatures that seemed crafted from tentacles, teeth and sheer terror; to say nothing of the strangely perverted Klik which attacked the heroes with all their combined, metallic might. Nevertheless, the mighty Tower fell across the blasted plains near the NAU Outpost and the day was saved.

...Or was it.

Now, three years later, unusual things have been happening. Not only have the NAU scouts been reporting unusual occurrences and movements near the Fallen CogTower, but also the small community of piece-mealed Klik that were drawn by the massive amounts of readily-available spare parts and raw materials have been detecting strange and unexplainable things moving and amassing around the ruined swath of clockwork destruction. Tinkertown, as the small Klik enclave has become known, has been raided several times over the past several weeks by what appear to be tentacled Churl with prosthetic Klik weaponry! Outpost FLW has substantiated these reports with unusual surveys of their own: horrific winged creatures with serpentine necks and tails ripping through the Flux-stained clouds simply...watching. NAU-aligned L'na in the Michigan Wilds to the north and east whisper rumors abound about a dark Churl King who has claimed all the lands north of the Fallen CogTower has his own. He perverts the very trees and rocks, bringing them under his foul sway.

Who will answer the call that resounds from the countryside? Which new heroes will now step forth and vanquish this new, twisted foe?

SUBMISSION CRITERIA:

1. Due to the background, NO CHURL without a STELLAR back-story will be allowed.
2. Any other Character may be accepted, built from the current stock of cards as found in the Untold Store as of August 1, 2010. However, as this is a bit of a test, as new decks come out, I may hear cases for new card additions.
3. Players must accept that I, as GM, WILL be throwing new stuff at them that has yet to be released. However, the up-side is anything that I use, you will, during the course of the story, possibly have access to (i.e. if you wipe out a baddie with a new BFG2000 Power Card, then you may get a chance to wield said weapon).
4. All Characters MUST be submitted via the site's Contact feature to be considered
5. All Character submissions MUST have the prefix "RftR" in the subject line.
6. All Characters MUST be presented with NO LESS THAN a complete QRC (see below for example), list of commonly used Hot Swaps, and a one-paragraph back-story.
7. 25 Character Deck limit is in effect (at least until we see how this goes - yes, that includes Hot Swaps).
