Alright, so Ashy and I hammered out this new idea. We should start threads to help Untold players network and find players in their area.
They're called Untold Player Unions (UPU). They will be sorted according to state. The general idea is to create an ever expanding list of players for each state so that new players can find players in their area. This will also encourage "networking" among players and help strengthen the Untold community. It will also help players moving to or visiting new areas to find players.
I will be spearheading this little endeavor, but as the threads grow, we'll be needing people to help maintain them. Volunteer basis ofcourse.
What can you do to help now? Well, as I post the various threads for each state, I would like everyone to visit their state's thread. IF you do not find your name on the initial list of players, found in the very first post, then please let me know by posting your location on that thread. So, for example, if Klikfan1 joins the forums, and lives in Atlanta Georgia, he would go to the Georgia Thread and post "Hey guys, I'm in Atlanta." The person in charge of the thread (me for right now) will then go to the first post and add the new name to the list. Also, if you want to have a little more fun with this, why not suggest a nickname for your UPU? Something fun and Untold related!
Alright, so keep your eyes peeled. We're about to kick things off. Hope this makes sense!

It needed to be done and I've nothing better to do at the moment. But we need to lay the foundations now for player networks, so that in the future, once this game grows and becomes more popular, successful networks are already in place to help both new and old players connect.

Suggestion, Ben. How about linking each name to their Contact page on the forum, so it will be easy for new players to get in contact with them. So, for instance, for my name, you could link to here: Ashy

Local Events
Where would be the best place to advertise if we have a local event (not necessarily a CUBE) and want to target an area? These threads look like mostly a listing of players in an area, not events.
