I'm thinking about the fact that Untold is card-based, so these are strange game-changing abilities that might be neat reality-warping flux-infused powers. I'm sortof getting some feedback on these before I go and develop a full write-up on the card submission thread.
Flux Drain
If attack is successful, take the Transitioned Bane card and drop it onto the target player's cards. Any card touched by the Bane card is effectively unplayable and the powers on those cards cannot be used until the effect goes away. The UP costs still counts for the character (so the Swap Buffer doesn't increase) but those cards can be downgraded if the player chooses.
Flux Boost
The power would have a MAG rating, and any card touching this card gets an increase to its MAG equal to the MAG of the Flux Boost power. So you could have several cards, all touching by just a corner or edge, and they al gain the benefit.
If it seems totally silly to have the physical aspect of card location or positioning affect gameplay, that's fine. I'm just curious if this concept would even be feasable.
