Here's an idea that just came to me. I'm not interested in developing it myself, but I'd be happy to see someone else do so.

First, I've noted that most of the write-ups deal with New Earth (and that's cool), but I thought that a little "otherworldly" action would be neat.

Imagine that a Carrier Group got sucked up in a Flux-storm during the Event (or even after the Event), and transported to another world's ocean (or even to an oceanic region of Ai)?

These (soon-to-be) Apoc High-bred would have to deal with an alien environment and with limited resources.

It's sort of a different take on the movie "The Final Countdown", only not involving time travel, but dimensional travel.

Have fun!

WOW....

So very cool. Love the idea! It would probably be a single carrier - not many carrier groups around due to lack of resources/fuel/etc. - but there might be enough stuff lying around to piece together a single patchworked carrier. Cool idea, suren - someone needs to run with this; it would make a great adventure!

Carrier?

You mean an air-craft carrier?

I had an adventure idea involving one of those around when I first got started.

Yes

Yes M3!

An aircraft carrier, like the U.S.S. Enterprise (a nuclear-powered floating city)! Write something for it! It'd be cool!

Sketchy

I don't know if I could write it well, but I know Nathan actually ran it.

No Prob!

Hey, you don't have to write it. I just thought somebody might like the idea!

This sparked a couple of

This sparked a couple of ideas.

A present day Carrier or ship getting sucked in via a precursor to the event. We know there have been other minor events the foreshadowed what is coming.

The Marie Celeste - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Celeste - Now we know where the crew went.

Finally taking that idea to the extreme, have a flux storm spit out everyone who was lost in the Bermuda triangle somewhere, either an island or Florida. Use it as a starting point for a campaign or as a location after the survivors have settled in and established a stronghold.

Very cool ideas indeed....

Bad Beginnings: Gamma actually winds up in the Triangle. Hurm...maybe a transition adventure? :)
