See you there!

Wish (sort of) that I could be there to help!
Technically, you *can* help regardless. I'm hoping to borrow your "War Zone" adventure, if that's okay with you, as a play option for the folks at the C.U.B.E. - I experienced it at Imagicon, it was fun, and I'd like to introduce others to it. Would you terribly mind? I'll give credit, of course.
I'm flattered actually. Please, by all means brother, use it. Modify it. Tell me how you and your players enjoyed it! Imitation is the highest form of flattery!
If we could afford it, I'd be right there with ya. But I guess its a good thing...I always hate visiting my home town...
I guess you could say we hit the ground running - the second I got there at noon, I had people looking at the cards and was explaining the basics of the setting. Before we even officially started, we had a game going. The adventure was a custom one I'd written up based loosely off Ashy's "Swamp Things" adventure seed - I'll try to get it fully typed up and posted there as soon as I can so everyone else can use it as they wish. I consider it a good sign that we wrapped up a solid two and a half (or maybe more) hours after the "official" end of the CUBE and people were still wanting more. We may have been a bit limited in our numbers at the store, but interest was very high from my players at least! I really would be glad if they - especially the fellow playing the Apoc Churl whose entire tribal religion was based around Saturday morning cartoon shows such as Thundercats - use the cards I gave them (thanks Hall!) to join up on the forum here.
I must admit that I was so busy with the game and the players that I didn't catch what Hall was doing on the display/sales side of things much of the time, but I did see some interest at the merchandise section... so here's hoping we moved some decks and got some eyes on the game. I *do* know that the owners of Bud's Place were gracious, interested, and welcoming. I'd be happy to play there again, and I hope the chance to bring Untold back to Bud's Place again materializes soon.
Good work MHM and Hall! I'm glad my home town was receptive. And yeah, Bud's is a good place with good people. I would love to run another C.U.B.E. there with you sometime!
I talked to Hall this AM and last night and my hat's off to you two - sounds like you did a ROCKING JOB!! Way to go! I'll be giving you a call this afternoon to discuss future plans, MHM! :D
I had some ideas for a campaign after the other day and some more in depth concept of actually developing my characters tribal beliefs a little more, still using some Saturday morning cartoon ideas, but keeping it a little more obscure... I also came up with some interesting concepts for the klik, possibly something that sits in opposition to the great machine, or could be considered a type of infectious virus..would love to discuss with you guys in more detail once i get a better feel for some of the solid staples that exist in untold.
Also ashy did you get my e-mail? I sent one to hall as well.....
Welcome to the boards! Glad to see someone from the old homestead. Chances are, Ravenwing, that they did receive your email, they've just been too busy to get to it just yet. Don't worry! Happens all the time! I've been here a year, and I can say that they've always been this way!
Ya, I got the email and I've already replied - looking forward to talking with you about your ideas, Ravenwing!
Sorry to offend, Ben - we've certainly never intended to. Sadly, working two jobs (a "real job" + Untold/WMS), having a family and social/church commitments don't leave too much time to answer every email as soon as it comes in... :(
Maybe I'll cut my sleep per night back to two hours instead of three and see if that helps any...
No offense taken. I'm just saying expect a longer wait time when emailing one of you. You're all neck deep in work.
Hey. The hatted one said I should post in here and mention that I was at Leeds CUBE.
Yea! +15 UP for being there! :D
Hello all i was there at Bud's place, I was the l'na twilight that charmed a zombie and put a leash on it.
Woo hoo! Welcome to the boards! +15 UP for vexxwhitewolf! :)

Well, I wish MHM and Hall the best of luck. Wish (sort of) that I could be there to help!
