Is there a thread already for known card misprints that have been addressed? My cards are probably early printings, and so I'm finding cards that might already be fixed elsewhere, like a Minion whose size is "Tine" as opposed to "Tiny" (Shell Shepherd) or my Apoc Race checklist titled "Powers Core Melee Weapons" (which is another deck I'm trying to get, but haven't yet).
+2 UP to Lumberklik for typo-spotting! (wasn't that a movie???)
:P
Besides 'Urilize' , this has been a personal interest, one I've saved because I didn't realize it would wind up on cards, since Ashy seemed to be the only one insistent on the (mis)spelling. But I found "Barnabus" instead of "Barnabas" in a quote for a Power or Minion in LigHt's cards a while back and thought to post it now. Here's the original spelling in the original Hebdomal Persona: http://www.untoldthegame.com/splintered-serenity/hp/barnabas-el-arabah ;)
It's ok, Ashy, cause it made me smile each time I you wrote it down. :D
Just because we spell it different doesn't mean it's wrong. Names can be spelled lotsa ways...
That is true, but seems strange ta do with card character names, such as Uru/Ooru wouldn't replace Oru, and Ursimian isn't Ursimion's alter sig.
Was sorting cards and came across a few more...
NAU Wardog - the word "normal" is split across two lines as "nor mal"
NAU HERo Sergeant - is a "SOLIDER" according to his color quote
Hydra Strand - "its still coming" color quote should be contraction "it's"
Eye of the Beyond - power causes DISPAIR originally, but corretly lists DESPAIR later
Another personal favorite. ;)
Thanks, Lumberklik! +2 UP!!
Was looking over my cards ("Preciousessssss"), and noticed something odd about the "Shrug it Off" cards in the Apoc Amplifications deck (though I went back and Toa's has it too).
There is the typical note in the top section: For every 1 Body Boost add 1 to MAG
Except these cards have no MAG. Just straight Vitality.
My assumption is that the listed VIT should be shifted to MAG, and they should be * VIT with the note in the lower half "Add MAG to VIT". That, or the boost text should be simply deleted and these are straight VIT increasers. I haven't looked at the point costs closely to see if one way makes more sense than the other.
Card IDs are 03-108-1 and 03-108-3.
I believe the Boost text should read: For every 1 Body Boost add 1 to VIT
I will double check tonight.
On the "Strong" power card, 2 UP side: Your brawny and capable of lifting an impressive ammount.
Should be corrected to: You're brawny and capable of lifting an impressive amount.
EDIT - And another one!
On the "Lesser Regeneration 2" side of the power card: The monk making a disgusting, gurgling laugh as it pulled the sword out of its body.
Should be corrected to: The monk made a...
On "Gripping Fist of Earth" 10 UP side: Trod carefully.
Should be: Tread carefully.
Great catch, MHM! +3 UP for you!
Found another. "Sorcery" is misspelled as "sorcerey" on the "Ice Spear 4" flavor text.
MHM, pls email that to me; thnx!
This one's a weird one: the UP values for both sides of the "Dispatch Array" Klik-only site-swap card are identical. Dispatch Array costs 4 UP, Dispatch Array 2 costs 4 UP. Not sure if this is intentional, but it would seem odd for it to be due to the marked increase in range from having the second rank of the power.
As requested, I will also e-mail a copy of this to Ashy.
EDIT - Also discovered a typo on the Shoulder-Mounted Launcher (SML) card. The word "driven" is misspelled as "griven."
Now that you mention it MHM, I have an EXTREMELY weird card. I have two copies of armor of oaze 5 / 6 or whatever the biggest version of it is. One of them has both sides of the card listed as '0' UP, while the other has seemingly accurate values for each. Quite a treasure, I'd say.
Does it say "Armor of Oaze (AID)" as the title? Because that's the card you use when you as a caster use the AoO ability on someone else. YOU play the normal Armor of Oaze power card, paying the cost as usual, while the person you cast it upon gets the "aid" card for 0 UP and all the bonuses of the power without cost (because the caster, you, is already paying for it).
Confused me at first as well, until I realized the difference in title and UP together. Now, if it DOESN'T have the "AID" marker on it, there's a problem.
Quite right you are. Thanks for clearing that up, MHM.
Glad to help - as I said, I was confused too at first.
Thanks for clearing that up, MHM!
On the "Medical Training 2" side of the power card, first word of the flavor text: "Medic's" should be Medics, no apostrophe.
EDIT - Also, on the "Wilderness Lore 4" side of that power card, the flavor text uses "it's" three times when the appropriate word should likewise lack the apostrophe each time.
Wow - you'd think we would edit these.... :P
Actually, we did. For thousands of created cards, I guess we're still doing ok! :P
+2 UP for ManyHattedMan for finding these!
Checking to see if my note about Shrug it Off above has been looked at.
Ya, we're working all of these. :D Thanks! +2 UP for you!
Repository has been built and revisions are being made as we speak...or type as the case may be. HUGE thanks to you guys for alerting us of these things. Yet again it is you guys that make this game rock!
On the last line, it says "Power car" which I assume should be "card".
Thanks, Ben! +2 UP!
These cards:
Phlogiston Cloud 1-4: "GM may dictate othwise" - should be "otherwise"
Silicate Particle Blaster 1: Color text: They were sneezing so much, they could even stand up! - probably should be "couldn't even stand up!"
And the bottom of the box(!): "...awe just by it all ready!" would read better as "aww, just by it already!"
So was that the first bottom of the box message you've found? :D

There's no repository, but we are collecting them as we see them. Rest assured that new untold players will have fewer spelling errors due to your diligence. Thank goodness for print on demand! ;)
