Need some help here - how do Aid Cards work. For example, Soar on the Wind comes with Aid cards at 0 UP. I assume that this is the ability of the Power user (character that pays the UP cost for the Power) to allow others to also fly? But how do Aid cards work in terms of game mechanics?
Thanks - so it sounds like as long as the caster invests in the base power each round he can keep the power up for everyone he affects. Nice touch.
Yep! :D
Exactly...and it's easy to keep track of who has what in play and there are no durations, etc. Also, it really makes taking damage take on a whole new sheen - for example, if your party's all flying and suddenly you're attacked - everyone (and I mean everyone) WILL do their best to protect the caster... ;)
Adds a whole new level of cooperation and role-playing to the game. :P
I'll have to remember that little trick when my players try using Aid cards.
Thanks for the responses.
My pleasure! :D

Well, you just add the Aid card to the character's in play deck. If the "caster" ends the power by removing it from play, the Aid card is removed as well.
So, you're Oaze-invested character casts Soar on the Wind. The range is touch. The player puts Soar on the Wind into play. He hands the other players that his character could touch that round the appropriate Aid cards, which they immediately add to their character decks.
Later, when the caster removes the main card from play, the other players have to remove the Aid cards from play as well.
Hope this helps! :D
