Random Battle Faction

Within the Great Plains of what was once the United States a gargantuan and constant zone of Flux roils like the summer lightning storms that used to threaten the region. Externals drawn to the instability and Horrors twisted by its vary nature call the region home. Only a few Churl tribes dare to cross the region and the NAU consider it forbidden territory, so no one has detailed information about how many Horrors infest the ever-warping landscape, or what dire schemes they may be plotting.

Flux Horrors have a number of options available to them - befitting their ever-changing home and natures. Individual Flux Horrors cost more than minions from other factions, but their Soul based attacks, Draining Powers, and Condition Powers allow them to wash over their opponents like a seething tide. Players who like their battles to be more than the standard smash and bash will enjoy playing this faction.

Faction: Undead Infection
An insane nightmare given unlife. These deformed monstrosities sport slavering jaws and vocal chords that produce fearful wails.

Faction: Flux Horrors
Forged from crystallized pain, the Shardthrowers are the quintessential "aristocrats of aggression" of Q'uiir society. Their glassy changecrystal forms make them potent assassins.

When a vile horde is closing in, the Glue Gunner lets you stop them in their tracks. Cover them in slime and watch them thrash helplessly.

Battle Report: Swamp Slugfest

Location: Swamps of Lanta (Southeastern US).
Setting: About 4 AM on a sweltering summer morning in a swampy, overgrown junkyard filled with the rusting hulks of pre-Event vehicles. The goopy water is stained red with rust.
Forces: An Undead Infection (UI) horde vs. a loose alliance of swamp creatures (SWAMP).
UI: Wretch
SWAMP Leader: Snaighim

Setup: Undead hunt by night. While the sunlight does not seem to harm them, they prefer not to enter it - so once they finish their nightly hunts and begin returning to their putrid, dripping Hives, their bellies filled with warm flesh, the Undead are often at their most unaware. Jaka, the Snaighim, knows this well. As such, the serpent-like creature from Ai has chosen that specific time for its attack.
